If Germany can play that delicious passing game I saw today, England are indeed mincemeat.
Depends which team turns up on the day..
More could have been done.

I have watched this game today and I'm not so confident that the German team is good enough. I have not watched the English yet, but that will change.
You dont need to watch the english, all you need to know is they drew with Usa, Drew with Algeria and just about bet Slovenia 1-0 (they were running for the corner by the end of it). I.E. Theyre S##t!

If that is true the Ghanese should easily beat the US team. They were pretty good today and could have beaten Germany with a bit more luck and one decisive forward. Our captain Phillip Lahm saved the team from a draw and that was by the skin of his teeth.

I'm glad the US team has made it and it is a bit sad that either Ghana or the USA will get eliminated.

Excellent analysis! Lineker, Hanson et al are fired! With analysis like that, you would be a pundit I would definately listen to. No flowery language, not BS, just straight to the point and clear. =D>

Enemies until monday?

Just joking here

For a second time in a row, Mexico vs. Argentina in 2nd fase. Tough and even match that one played in Germany 2006, we were saved by Rodriguez.
I certainly hope that Messi doesn't break his no-goal streak against us. :wtf:

It's probably going to be another 1-0 or 0-0 match, damn I hate those.

But yes, enemies until Sunday when Mexico wins.

i'm hoping Chile can ride their wave. Last time they made it to the finals was 1962 after their big earthquake. Maybe the recent one was a sign.. they are 8-1-1 in their last 10 international matches and undefeated in WC so far.

La Roja 2010 campeones!!!

A moment of silence for the champions bowing out of the tournament.. BOTH the finalists from 2006 are going home without winning a game in 2010. :o

They have a good DT, crazy as hell, but good at last.

BTW, Italy  :o :wtf:

Another of the bigs European teams out. Together with France and the elimination of England/Germany in the next fase, the chance for South American teams to win the cup increases.

Can't say I'm surprised or disappointed about France packing their bags, but Italy?! Never saw that one coming.

wouldnt it be funny if the US of A won the cup? lol such a football nation.. erm sorry, soccer..

im glad italy is going home, i have no sympathy for them, they played half-heartedly and cried like little girls whenever they were fouled. PLAY football and stop acting like somebodys just cut off your leg!

seriously though, italy seemed to lack motivation.

i would like to see a total underdog in the finals :D
