A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Upper is for sure Canadian iteration. Lower one is a new one?

EDIT: no upper is not Canadian, it has additional winglets.

It's not. This wing was introduced in Turkey.
It's been a long time since we drove last time, but it has also been a short time at the same time

It's the best I was able to find. I see some white thing at the end of the sidepod, but I can't tell whether is it exhaust outlet or some sensors...

EDIT: I've found bigger version. It looks like exhaust.

BBC F1 pit-lane reporter Ted Kravitz on Renault's design changes: "It looks like the car was conceived with this powered diffuser and new exhaust - it's absolutely fantastic; I can't talk in high enough terms about it. Not only have they got the biggest and most exquisite front wing, having started the season with the most basic one, but now this treatment they've got at the back is wonderful."

I wonder, if photographers got ban on shooting Renault's rear, as there was some pictures removed from Sutton yesterday.

He notices that 'fantastic' rear end for the first time... But the R30 has a 'fantastic' rear end since Sakhir, and due to the 'hype' around the blown diffuser, some 'observers' take a look at the Renault for the first time

Yes it's unique but that shape belongs to the lower part of the vertical endplate not the upper part:
