I'm with you! Albeit already since the beginning of the tournament ;)
They're obviously not playing great, but the atmosphere in The Netherlands during a football championship is just amazing, much much better than in Belgium (if someday they manage to get back to a WCup)

Everybody in Holland, is hoping for the world cup! I THINK Uruguay is a team we CAN and WILL beat. But Germany will be though! (If they go through!) I personally hope Spain goes to the Finales. We have a better chance against them!

Yeah, according to the spanish newspapers, the octopus got it wrong in 2008... Spain vs. Germany for the Euro 2008 final. Now the octopus chose wisely (i.e. sushi instead of "pulpo a la gallega").
I am not amazed by F1 cars in Monaco. I want to see them driving in the A8 highway: Variable radius corners, negative banking, and extreme narrowings that Tilke has never dreamed off. Oh, yes, and "beautiful" weather tops it all.

Paul the soothsaying octopus has now picked Spain over the Dutch. hedge your bets. If Paul gets this right, he'll be 8-0 in picks in this wc.

Mmm... If he gets it right (and I hope so), that's 1/2^8 (more or less) or 1/256. Nothing too outrageous. Water freezing requires something weirder than that, and it happens in my freezer every time.
