What caused SC?
I've seen what looked like a pice of front wing, but from which car?
Pushing another car off track...wrigs wrote:I'm not sure I get your point - I'm saying we shouldn't discourage risky passes by punishing them simply because they are risky. To be honest I don't think that Schumacher should be punished for this. These guys are top racing drivers - we should trust that they have spacial awareness enough to judge when they get too close to other drivers. Had something actually happened then yes, Schumacher should be punished. But I think it is better for the sport not to discourage this kind of behaviour just out of principle. What was much more dangerous and should be punished is Mercedes' huge blunder with Rosberg's rear left during the pit-stop.Once again, on which grounds would you punish him? Which section of the sporting code did he break?manchild wrote:Complete and unchanged B U S T A R D!
At least 3 race ban would be a good punishment - good enough to show that any replacement would score better results than his bustardness.
I agree. It was far too dangerous move. Should get penalty.manchild wrote:

What about Vettel who did the same to Alonso in previous race?vall wrote:I agree. It was far too dangerous move. Should get penalty.manchild wrote:

I thought the rule is clear. No matter what you never leave a huge gap to the car in front under safety car. Spare me the lame excuses, every driver should know that and radio not working doesn't matter. Even if Vettel didn't know the SC was pitting (and didn't see the lights, yeah right), why did he leave such a huge gap? Lies. He just wanted to play leader and slow down the car behind him for the restart like he usually does and didn't care about Webber cause he had to do a pit stop. :^o [-X Kettle.WhiteBlue wrote:In the end Vettel made the mistake by either not paying attention to the safety car shutting down the light or by opening up too wide a gap.
Why is it black?zgred wrote:Piece of Liuzzi's front wing.
It was exactly the same, half the car was over the white line near the wall. Go check the pictures in that thread.vall wrote:it was not the same!!! Alosno was still on track, while RB is clearly out. Imagine if a car was coming out of the pits?
Yes, but what caused it? And why did Button pit then?zgred wrote:timbo wrote:What caused SC?

Piece of Liuzzi's front wing.
I think it is just endplate, here You have wing before change.timbo wrote:Why is it black?zgred wrote:Piece of Liuzzi's front wing.
he was expecting a radio call advising him of the restart but due to comms issues it never came - still he should have paid more attention, rough deal all round for him.WhiteBlue wrote:In the end Vettel made the mistake by either not paying attention to the safety car shutting down the light or by opening up too wide a gap.
