Ill have to wait and see, but i think if the sweeping Turn 6 went into a heavy breaking part at Turn 9/10 and Turn 9/10 into turn 11 was slightly straighter and the kink of Turn 12/13 was slightly smoother id say it would be faster.
However, i did think that the old Turns 5-6-7 had something of a Maggots/Beckets complex about it, high speed aero with a good mechanical compromise was needed in that section. Brakes will be less marginal now, but engines and especially gearboxes will be crucified now.
If the ever revise this track again, they need to do the last corner Turn 23 (im the same as Martin Brundle, i dont count or entertain Turn 24) to be sharper and more profiled like Turn 1 with a less generuous run off. Turn 4 could be sone simmilarly as well, altho going back to its origional run off may be enough for me there.
The only thing i can see at current that section may be good for is getting the cars advertising on TV.
I was recptive yesterday about that section, but now im a little more critical about it untill i can see that is is adding something to the track and its demands.
