I saw them talking in the garage during FP1 and did not get that impression. I'll have a look at the recording.

I thought that from early on ..very often in pregrid and in the pits Shovlin is crossing his arms towards schumacher...yes they joke around ..but the body language tells he feels uncomfortable with Schumacher .i have no idea if it´s just the way he is ,never had an eye on his relationship with Button.

now these pics have a different face.. it seems that Schumacher is not too happy with what Shovlin is telling/explaining him, his mood is obviously nerved and a bit bored as well ?.. not like :Wow,it´s SPA we are racing on, my fav.Track this weekend..

Simple really marcush, Schumacher feels as suckered as the Stuttgart-suits, or do you think he came out of retirement just to learn how it must have been for those in a Sauber, during those years when he was used to win every second race?

Humbug. By the time he consistently outperforms Rosberg he will have earned the right to bitch about the car or team. If he was scoring points like Rosberg does, Mercedes would still be within fighting distance of Ferrari.

don´t forget rosberg is the one that bitches around ..car team whatever. Schumacher only said they are stuck with a legacy car not fingerpointing officially towards the team .

Perhaps little Keke is acting as a Schumacher-proxy?

exp..one of the undebatable pros of schumacher is his rocksteady layalty towards the team in most difficult circumstances,he neve put blame towards the team .
I have to admit that we have heard some mourning from his side in Canada when the car had crossweights in it in Q ..for the second race in a row...

The amusing part about that is that 'legacy' car was winning, and winning with virtually the same set of technical regulations we have now. You can argue that the RB6 is a legacy car simply because it's an evolved RB5. A lot of people didn't think it was going to do much this year because it didn't appear to have moved on. I bet they all feel like muppets now.

It's butt covering, whichever way you cut it.

Well you can't quite expect the same level of affection between driver and engineer as Smedley and Massa can you? :P

After running away with the first half of the season, it was an easy sell for Haug to get the Stuttgart-suits on board?
No you're not. It was clear when the McLaren/Mercedes relationship had sufficiantly soured what was going to happen. What's more suspicious is how they didn't get any long-term sponsors in during that year, such as Virgin, so they didn't have any long-term commitments which would prevent them from being Mercedes F1.

I know I have Alzheimer, but when did Schumacher find himself struggling for tenth place before this season, ie reason to bitch?

McLaren did not want to get out of it at all. What McLaren wanted was a technical partnership and what Mercedes wanted was to take McLaren over. That wasn't going to happen so Mercedes took their toys and got their own team.

Have a look at the body language in your pictures. Schumacher is squarely facing Shovlin, Shovlin is turned to one side and has his arm up in a defensive manner. Schumacher then bites the side of his mouth in that non-plussed manner that he does.

Things are not well.

Re: Mercedes GP

Post

just found this in a interview with the head honcho of Bridgestone`s racing division:

>>>>
Q: How much more narrow is the new front and did the teams have to do anything in particular to accommodate it?
TK: It is actually 20mm more narrow (including wheel width) than the 2009 specification (2010 front tyre size: 245/55 R13) and it enables the cars to be better balanced from front to rear. From the teams' perspectives, they should have taken these new fronts into consideration when designing their 2010 cars and they were asked in particular to consider designing the cars with more rear carrying load in order to get the best out of the tyres.
<<<<

So how does this fit into the wrong weight distribution picture?
