OK, lets talk, what was the other changes in R30 at SPA? As Eric Boullier said F-duct is a more than half of a performance gain. Where is 'less than half' then?

Before race it was info 'F-duct and few more updates'.

Surely EBD was corrected.

Spa performance of R30 was really very good. After cleaning field by Vettel, Kubica had 0.5s till 1.0s shorter laptimes. His laptimes at the beginning was even better than Hamilton. Just before final rain Kubica put pressure and easily was faster than Webber.

F-duct alone is too small for such a good peace. Am I speculating alone or it could be something more?

IMO R30 is just all around good car and has a lot downforce.

I don't think we've seen a lot of indication that the car is loaded with downforce. However we know it has magnificent traction and great mechanical stability and grip

In Hungary, the R30 received many changes; changes in the diffuser, the EDB, the rear bodywork... the pilots were very satisfied with them, especially the fixed EDB

this car has the potential to be very fast, even fight for the victory. I believe that Renault will be the key to winning the championship teams of Red Bull and McLaren. Renault will probably pass for a race or two Mercedes in the team standings, but could be closer and Ferrari at the end of the season.

but thanks for pointing it out.

It seems the air is directed right onto that black winglet placed over the diffuser to further increase rear downforce when the fduct is not being used

I'm a a McLaren fan, but I have to congratulate fot Renault for this fantastic race. What impresses me most, is that every update seem to work for Renault almost "out of the box". No other team so far was so succesfull updating their cars. I believe that Kubica has to be the key factor in the process too. It just seems that they were beginning the season with a relatively slow car with reliability problems, but now they seems to up there with top teams.

+1. Hopefully the R31 will be race winner and a recipient of as many updates as this one. I like what Genii have done with Renault. They used to be lethargic but this years car has been impressive, even if they added the F-duct pretty late in the game compared to other top teams.
