McLaren (as they were at the end of 2007) are after Vettel: http://uk.autoblog.com/2010/09/15/whitm ... gn-vettel/

Vettel and Hamilton as team-mates would be amazing.

Webber and Hamilton lead the champiionship ,not Vettel...to me Vettel would not match Button for points now if they had swapped seats before the season started....
to me both Webber and Vettel owe their championship to Newey .The RBR6 is in my view more domenant than Brawn was in 2009 .

dominance requires reliability as much as speed. To finish first, first you have to finish.

I was thinking more along the drama side of things. The two of them would kill each other. The pole shoot outs would be class.

The problem is Red Bull haven't turned all those pole positions to wins. Brawn last year had more wins than the poles they got but Red Bull is the exact opposite. 6 wins out of 12 poles is not a good performance while Brawn had 8 wins out of 5 poles. Newey's RB6 is a masterpiece.
Those Brawn drivers could have bagged the championship in RB6 by now, couldn't they?

I think any of the other top 5 or 6 drivers could have bagged the WDC by now, just Vettel and Webber arnt up to it...

Indeed!! We have to be kind of thankful that the Bulls are so bad on strategy/reliability, or we might already have a champion in both constructors as well as drivers

so this year clearly does not deserve a drivers champion if a RedBull does win the WDC.

the redBull boys created a pressure vessel for themselves ....imho ..and i don´t see any chance they will be faultless now that they just have to deliver.
will their starts be good now ..highly doubt this.

back to silly season 2011:

the so called backmarkers /new teams will they be able to challenge for Q2 on a regular base?
lotus has set its targets accordingly already ..but what about Virgin and HRT?
will both teams have their own gearbox hydraulics next year after the never ending nightmares they experience?
