Redbulls could be in trouble here, 3ths down in the first sector is alot, even if they can get front row the first lap is going to be painful

I guess the Red Bulls will have to set things up with less downforce and live with it through sectors 2 and 3

3 tenths down is not bad for such a long distance, but they'll be sitting ducks if either of them makes a mistake coming over the curb in the last turn.

Sunday looks like rain, right?

They still need four or five laps to get up to speed. Vettel fast but still incredibly slow in the first sector. Button complaints that he cannot get tyre temp with the hard tyres at all.

button needs to pick up the pace if he wants to help lewis and himself put some space between webber and the top.
He said he was struggling with tyre temperatures and grip.

The track is very competitive, evolving with each lap. The most exciting q1 outside of the wet weather ones.

Button is showing on of his weaknesses again. Piss poor tyre temperature management. Hamilton seems to understand the finer, more delicate details of heating up the tyres.

I don't think it's so much Hamilton manages better, but hamilton copes with the handling of not-up-to-temp tyres better

Seb, after 3 lacklustre FPs, seems to have come alive in quali
