Webber effed up and Vettel was a victim of bad Renault or Red Bull reliability. Your comment shows nothing but complete bias. Seb had a complete engine bank failure. This is nothing the driver can influence. He had been saving tyres and was spot on to lead the championship when disaster struck. I guess he probably had an electrical failure or lost the a cam shaft on one side.xpensive wrote:Not at all, the kleine b**t is notoriously wreckless with his machinery, including engines, common knowledge that.WhiteBlue wrote:What a race!! I'm heart broken for Sebastian who did everything right and was let down by his machinery. He is the moral victor of this race.
The heartbreak was all Webber's.
+1. He took it excellent though. Still very cheery afterwards. It couldn't have blown in Spa instead?Ray wrote:Poor Vettel. Another race win he got robbed of. Dammit. Mistakes are one thing, but this is heartbreaking.
yup.Goran2812 wrote:
maybe they are just exhausted (both mentally and physically) after such a hard race. they are only humans.komninosm wrote:BTW is it me or was that podium a cold one. Seemed like no driver liked the others.
With all due respect, so do yours.WhiteBlue wrote: Your comment shows nothing but complete bias.
You know, I don't see that happen?Tomba wrote:Instead of leading the championship, he's now in a bad situation and might face Webber favoritism within his team.
I hope that fate will deal Alonso an equalizer. Unfortunately that is not likely to help Vettel as much as it will Webber. I still can't believe how much luck Webber and Alonso keep having. Webber effs up and lady luck craps over his team mate to keep him ahead in the championship and force the team to possibly issue team orders next time.Tomba wrote:Anyway, also don't forget that Alonso is running short of engines and might also still get a DNF somewhere in the next two races...

An equalizer like the safety cars in Valencia or Silverstone? Or an equalizer like the lost clutch and, eventually, engine in Malaysia? Like the electronics blackout in Monza and Suzuka before the start (amazingly, none of them being costly)? Like the broken chassis in Monaco FP3 (after a clear driver error, though)? Like the two lapped cars costing him positions in Canada? Like Rubens Barrichello almost taking him out of the race in Spa? It's undeniable he's suffered less incidents than Vettel, but then again he hasn't enjoyed the fastest car in all but two or three of the races.WhiteBlue wrote:I hope that fate will deal Alonso an equalizer.
