What a great qualifying. Hulk did one more lap then anyone else, but even if he didn't he was still faster than the Bulls by a couple tenths the previous lap. That car must have a nice dry setup on, and could look mighty in tomorrow's race.

Hamilton right up time-wise on the 2 RB's, Alonso a step back of Lewis. Poor showing from Button and Massa. I don't think I'm alone in saying I expected Massa to be right up there with Fernando this session.

It's everyone's question now - where'd that come from for the Hulk??

That seriously was incredible, and not a little bit. He beats the Red Bulls by more than 1.1 seconds in qualifying.

Maybe they went for an full dry setup and others more to the wet? If so, I hope it is dry tomorrow, then I hope to see them all eat Hulkenbergs dust!

If enibody thinks that Nico has pole becouse of good tire call, you must be kidding? He was on the same tires than all the others, and he had the pole before his last lap at the end, just phenominal driving by him that is it

He had nothing to lose compared to the title contenders. If he threw it into the fence, what did it really matter?

Hulkenberg looked amazing. From the outside it looked like he's on rails!

Wow, that should make for an interesting race tomorrow.

Somebody suggested that the extra lap heated up the tires a little more, but I admit I'm clueless.

The best part about it is he had them all beat the lap before. Truly outstanding session=D>

That was far from predictable. Holly hell I sure hope that pole cemented NH contract for next year. Once and awhile we see flashes of excellence out of him and I am sure with time it will happen more often. Its unreal the pace he had today, and he was on the same tires as everyone else!!!

I just hope we see a clean start and perhaps Hami will make it past the typical poor starting Webber to make the WDC that much more interesting.

Hulkenberg is gifted.
I remember williams doing the same thing last year with Rosberg and Nakajima though. The car is gambling on very high downforce. 1 second is a monstrous gap to a redbull.

But Hulk also knew a line that the others could not figure out, or could not take without the right downforce. Great, since when have williams had a pole?

Aside from that, Hamilton, truly showed the rain king skills in the wet part of q3, pretty strong showing even up to the first laps on slicks.
He's ahead of the ferrari and pretty close to the bulls for the first lap.

Tommorow's going to be crazy with hulk being a sitting duck on the straight, a red bull's gonna try a move.
For Sure!!

Well, maybe there has been pressure to deliver on Hulk because his position with Williams is not yet certain. If that is what it is, he certainly rose to the occasion.

Go Williams Go!!!!! We need a pic with the Hulk in green overalls.

In another order, I'm disappointed with Fernando. He made a mistake in his last lap, and that should have been worth one or two places. Oh well. Funnily, after q3, when asked about his starting position for tomorrow, Alonso said he's glad because he'll be in the best positions to check whether the three WDC challenging drivers in front of him make it past the first turn. Of course, that was said with a sly smile.

Oh, sorry for the caps: GO WILLIAMS!!!!!!

PS: Hulk's lap was legendary. SOOO ragged
I am not amazed by F1 cars in Monaco. I want to see them driving in the A8 highway: Variable radius corners, negative banking, and extreme narrowings that Tilke has never dreamed off. Oh, yes, and "beautiful" weather tops it all.
