Almost like Red Bull used Webber to bluff Ferrari and they went for it.

can't wait for 2011.
Yeah but they dont just hand the WDC over willy nilly, you actually have to win it and he hasnt looked up to the task in the last few races.

Alonso on Petrov:

"It is the way it is, he drove very well"

That is a man taking it with grace. I mean he did 40 laps behind him, he was frustrated, give him some slack he just lost the WDC FFS
More could have been done.

Congrats to Vettel and all his fans. I don't like it, but he deserved it.

Ferrari with inexplicable strategy, very surprising how they gave it away.

Anyway, Ecclestone said Vettel would be champion this year so no surprises.

I feel for Webber, but he never had a chance.

On to 2011.

Congratulations to Red Bull and Vettel, they really deserved it this year and with a bit of luck they could have bagged the championship earlier.

You post frustrates me my friend. Your double standard makes me cringe. Had it been Vettel or Hamilton especially, who behaved like Alonso today, you'd have been all over it.

I think Petrov drove out of his ruddy skin! "Very well" doesn't cover it. At least Alonso acknowledged that Petrov didn't make any mistakes. I guess that's something....

I think Vettel surely deserves to be champion this year. If you factor in how many top spots Vettel, Hamilton, Webber, Alonso and Button lost this year due to mechanical problems and unfortunate incidents, you can't help but realize the guy would have been leading by a big chunk going into this race. He has done a good job.

True. Assuming RB have a competitive car again next year, I think we can expect fireworks from Mark in 2011. Same goes for Alonso & Hamilton.

Poor strategy from Ferrari for Alonso, in hindsight he could of simply followed Button's strategy and won his 3rd WDC. They were too worried about matching Webbers strategy.

Congrats to the youngest WDC in history!

Despite plenty of points lost to reliability and driver error, still won the world championship. It just highlights how fast he's been. Well deserved championship for Vettel.
