Thank you very much for all your responses and excellent suggestions. I certainly have much food for thought now.
I try to reply to some of the questions, which I have the answer to!

The car is in the 2008 livery as it was used by JB at Goodwood FOS 2008. They always make the previous years cars look like the current ones for that event! I don't think I'll go back to the full '07 livery, I quite like wht its wearing at the moment, but who know, maybe we'll do something radically different sometime.

Didn't know it was possible to obtain a modern F1 car for that sort of money, and we feel very lucky that we weren't outbid.
As you mention, MC dampers is the way to go, torsion spring might be a bit trickier, but not imposssible and for tires, there's a good soft hill climb tyre from Avon which will fit, otherwise we do know where to find some of the original Bridgestone Potenza's.
I pressume the 'road legal' idea is a joke....can't quite see the car with headlights and indicators!
I do think that the H1V8 would be the way to go. I like the thought of a V8, and there's almost nothing else out there's as compact, light and powerful. Apart from a real F1 engine of course. Don't fancy the rebuild cost of those, though! Quite fun with bio-diesel or electric. Maybe something for the future. Thanks for posting the photos, looks the business!

You're right, serious mountain to climb, but we'll get going on it ASAP, just in the process of selling two other cars, so we can finance this project. Don't yet know if it will be ready this season, but we'll try!
Gearbox is a concern, but we have a mate that's doing what we're doing to a RB2 car. He's slightly ahead of us in the process, so we'll let him make all the mistakes first!

Many thanks, how amazing it would be to have contact with Mr. Nakamoto himself.

Our car is the RA 107-05,and as you can see from the included document below, the dates slightly differs from the ones you suggest. But you're right about it being the least succesful year for RB, best he managed was 9th at the British GP.
