Well the weight of the monocoque is usually quite secret. Although Ferrari's F2003-GA was rumoured to weight as little as 440kgs.

With regards to pictures I cant help you there sorry. One of the other guys will probly have some info though!

The monocoque or tub weighs arounf 70Kg, they are made from several major peices, most teams split the tun into upper an dlower halves, also some teams split the upper half into two. the other major piece is the seat back\bulkhead. often the rear bulkhead is made as part of the upper\lower halves. lastly the roll strucutre is bonded on.
Then teams have cosmetic panels to addon, such as the sidepod front, cockpit paddign surrounds and inlet snorkel.

There u go then. I never knew that. All i knew about the weight was the the F2003-GA was supposed to weight only 440Kgs without ballast.

But I didn't know the weight of the tub alone.

Thanks Scarbs!

allainz have been busting out a lot of good pictorials on their articles lately.
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.
