Isn't the pic an F10?

yes old F10.
according to the article: new car has a high and wide nose, a slim and high gearbox and initial part of the side pods is in McLaren-style Mp4-25! More information I could not translate... Should learn technical italian...

We will see it tomorrow...

Most of it anyway, I think I read on this forum that the launch car at least will have an F10 front and mostly F10 rear. could be wrong though

What it said was that it will have the F10 front and rear wing at the launch.

Pullrod brings a host of complications that involve changes to the gearbox, floor, exhaust etc etc etc.

RB5 and 6 used it as a feature of the design from the start.

All this indicates is that the F150 will be an evolution of last years car
And it will trail the Red Bulls still if that is the case. With the demise of DDD Pullrod made sense. Unless Ferrari have found something we dont know about....

A pullrod system is one solution, but pushrod also has benefits. Ultimately it makes litte aerodynamic benefit but has some benefit in bump. With the Cg of the engine fixed raisng the gearbox doe snot affect the Cg much so this is another option to make space for the single deck diffusor.

If their Kers packaging has resulted in a longer floor then they may want to raise the gearbox to provide clearance around the diffusor area. With a raised gearbox the suspension mounts also clears the exhaust more easily. They could have the exhausr no blowing into the diffusor. Guess we'll find out next week.

Can't wait! Although it'll be a little disappointing to see the 2010 front and rear wings. And I wonder if we'll get proper views of the diffuser and rear suspension from the launch. IIRC most of the time they avoid those angles until the testing begins.

Half the car they are showing is from 2010; can't notiace anything different apart from absent shark fin engine cover - it slants downwards now!
