you dont even know if that is the car....infact id be suprised if it is. just have some patience and wait two more days.

the source of the pic is definitely Mercedes (it matches the teaser pics), if someone wants to bullshit us it's them. according to the BILD article it is only the first version. they want to bring a second version to the third test in Barcelona/Montmelo 18-21. Feb (been there last year, pretty nice this circuit de catalunya, the ticket cost 10 Euro, 10.000 Fans, u can byob or whatever and a sunburn was inclusive).

I know JET. It's all been put to together very nicely and I believe this is the car, but I really wish I had seen the car in real form rather than a rendering form.

I see no reason to doubt the picture. Looks very genuine to me.
Mercedes GP are known to 'leak' stuff to Bild.

That picture of whats meant to be the W02 would have taken somebody will skill not too long.

I'm the opposite, I'm 99.9% sure this is NOT the car and just what somebody thinks it will look like. These days that sort of picture are easy to do.

Ok, 50 euro paypal says its not and that picture is an artists impression.

No way is it an actual picture.

I'm not saying the artist wont have been tipped off, it could have a high nose for example, but no way will the car look just like that.

Look at your M5.

That is exactly what renderings do, they look a bit plasticky. Now this picture shows very little in terms of that, and has near perfect shading thrown in.

I have seen very good renderings, and the best rendering always come from insider leaked photos that are
"cleaned" up a bit.


I think you will find this is the W02 that has had a bit of a touch up.
