Out of the contracted drivers Grosjean should be an obvious choice, from other drivers Hulkenberg, Heidfeld and de la Rosa probably.

He is Rallying now, and has too much to do with his Rallying team, as well as the Le Mans programme he is rumored to be doing with Loeb.

Heidfeld is the only logical one i can think of....

.... Unless, Renault say to Marussia Virgin, we will give you Senna if we can take Glock. The only other driver i can think of is Liuzzi.

I don't think so. Senna is not as bad as he seems, he did ok last year. We don't know how he will step up to walking in his uncles shoes.
For Sure!!

Lets see;

Hulkenberg = Force India
Heidfeld = Unnatached
De La Rosa = Pirelli TF109/TF110 tire testing
Grosjean = GP2 DAMS
Senna = LRGP No 3 driver (Obvious choice)
Liuzzi = Unnatached

Personally i thi nk its gonna be Senna with Heidfeld or Liuzzi putting in calls to Bullier soon to try and get that seats.

I sincerly doubt it.

Senna is the best reserve driver available to Renault so it makes sense if they use him.

I'd actually love to see Grosjean vs Petrov in the car. We'd see if Petrov was really that much better than Grosjean.

It's silly to have Senna, the guy was smoked by Klien. Renault already have one "marketing friendly driver", they can't afford two. Grosjean and Hülkenberg were cleary better than Petrov in GP2 with much less experience, they should be able at least put a better effort than Petrov.

With a little over one month before the first GP, it seems Renault would need a replacement.
Who? Hulk, Heidfeld?
This could be an oportunity for De La Rosa.

Heidfeld seems like the logical choice at this stage of the season. 9 years+ driving F1 plus more experiance on the Pirelli's than Senna.

Id give it to the shortlist of Heidfeld, Liuzzi and Senna. Id rule out De La Rosa.

But De La Rosa was faster than Heidfeld the last time I checked.
