Virgin MVR-02 Cosworth

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

The car like the others has a steep rake but I can't see what s going on in the rear.

The sinched waist very rb6 like. Heck most of it looks rb6. Not a terrbile car to copy.

I'd say the front of the car has changed significantly. Sidepods look pretty similar though.

Looks like its got a shorter wheelbase than the mp4-26, so they might have put alot of work into repackaging the 'limo' or the mp4-26 is especially long

The car looks really sleek. I wouldn't be surprised if it's very efficient, but does it produce the needed DF?

The launch images of the vr-01 did'nt take account of the revisions for the larger fuel tank which I think increased its length

Ah, thanks. I couldn't find a nice side image of anything but the launch car.

Just a minor evolution really, looks like the worked on packaging KERS etc.

I expect this and HRT to be the back markers this year.

I like it! It won't win races, but lets see how it compares to the T128 and the new HRT (if that happens). The livery looks better than the Sauber. So be glad that it exists, partypeople!
