HRT F111 Cosworth

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Depends... Did HRT pay them for the livery, or did they pay for the exposure?

Hispania to skip Jerez test and will be testing at Monza with Pirelli ! Where did this come from? I wonder what they aim to achieve by this, Maybe gives them more time to test the new car ? I won't be surprised if they sign Pedro De La Rosa or an Italian driver/ sponsor.

Seemingly it was a partnership between the artist and Hispania to gain the team a livery and something for his portfolio as he is would love to make an animated racing adventure seemingly.

This car looks like its gonna be a really tidy one, it may just be fast enough as well.

Good to see HRT bringing new sponsors into the world of F1, but I don't think "Your Logo" will help them very much.

I mistakenly posted in the "other" HRT thread that their new sponsor, "Your Logo," probably would NOT be bringing much cash . . . One would think that HRT would have their sponsors signed by now, and would give them all the exposure they could.

"Your Logo" is good for a laugh, but HRT fans should be worried.

This is the reply I got from someone who had seen the final livery

@lundo88 Yes, there are new sponsors on the #Hispania car but can't tell you too much. Some Senna sponsors gone, some new ones arrived.

I think we may have to wait until Barhain to see what is on the F111, some other new sponsors should be with the 2nd driver as well.

They were the smoke-and-mirrors outfit who tried to buy BMW Sauber at the end of 2009 but turned out to be nothing more than a scam...
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️
