Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Oh, no, that wasn't really my point. More that because Bond has an association with car companies, then if other cars are named "Bond-like" this could be seen as an infringement on the agreement that whichever company is associated to Bond at the time has with the franchise. I'm assuming here that said car company will have bought into the franchise for their car to feature.

Ford has it as F-150
while its just F150 for the Ferrari, although the pronunciation is the same.
Yes, but some search engines ignore the "-", so from the previous example, typing "F-150" will yield the same results as typing "F150". I tried it with google and got the same results.

As far as the marketing profits go, this whole name malarchy is more beneficial to Ford than anything. Have you tried Googling images of F150? The first pic of a Ferrari comes up at page 21!

Why not call it the F1-50? Tbh, it's commemorating something pretty big (150th anniversary of the unification of italy) so why do Ford have to be all gay about it?

It looks like Ferrari have renamed their 2011 car to F150th Italia.

On my machine, there was an image of a Ferrari on page one of google images, but all of the rest were of the Ford truck.

Through extensive sales and advertising and exclusive use, Ford has earned invaluable goodwill in the F-150® trademark. That hard-won goodwill is seriously threatened by Ferrari's adoption of "F150."

When Ferrari announced the name of its race car as "F150," Ford asked Ferrari to change the name. Ferrari did not respond in a timely manner, leaving Ford no choice but to take legal action to protect its important brand and trademark rights.
... They can't actually believe a Formula 1 team would try to trade on the image and goodwill of a BIG HEAVY SLOW PICKUP TRUCK. I'm from the U.S. and absolutely embarrassed by this ...

why would you take on Ford to begin with? Ferrari disregarded the letter asking nicely, Ford filed the papers, Ferrari knew they were screwed, caved in.
