It's good to read latest news on Kubica's progress (for example at this very site). There's no infection, wounds heal ok, he's slowly going to begin his rehabilitation. He's strong and I hope he'll return to racing. Maybe even this year.

We all hope he'll be back and fit. In his case IMHO no news is good news.

Yeah, that's true. But what I'm waiting for are first reports from his rehabilitation process.

It's Polish.
Reporter say in this video that the car was confiscated by the Italian police and that currently the car is waiting for expertise in some workshop. He's describing extensive damage we can see on the car. He's stating that there was one camera in the car and that the recording is now evidence in the investigation.
Reporter's describing that Robert has been pulled from the wreckage by firefighters who cut open the car behind driver’s door to get him out.

Kubica has extra elbow surgery :

I hope will recover very well from his injuries. I want him to get well 100% then make his comeback.

Latest news:

According to doctors at the Pietra Ligure hospital, Robert Kubica is making rapid progress and will start walking on his own by next week. The fourty days of rest that his hand required have almost expired and he will be able to start more extensive rehabilitation. He has allready been able to move his fingers half way(not clench the fist but grip). All in all, great news!
