Vettel was awesome again putting 2 tenth on Webber. Ferrari are 1 s behind the pace. The roof is on fire at Maranello.

Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best .............................. organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)

@segendunum - sorry, but can't help rub your face in it a bit about McLaren not being able to take the fight to Red Bull and having inherent design problems. Still worried about this car and yaw?

There is no fundamental issue with the McLaren. Did you see the in-car of Hamilton's 35 flat in Q3. No drama. That's a good car.

I think we have a straight fight. No sandbagging in that Q3.

Hamiltons first lap was absolutely CLEAN.Car was planted,no sliding no oversteer no understeer, just beautiful.MP4-26 is absolutely a nice car.

Its gonna be a hell of a race tomorrow.I hope to see a good fight with the 4-6 top cars but after that the gap is dissapointing. :?

I think in the race we will see a close battle between the first 6 cars. Ferrari is only --- in qualifying in my opinion.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

..This is not what i signed up. I fully expected that mac to swing around like a pendulum. Would like some more theories from Seg. about yaw and stability...

I'm not so sure. Their best chance will be off the line. There's still big question marks over their tyre wear and Alonso's car did not look at all poised or balanced. The Red Bulls and McLarens in particular look incredibly stable and well balanced.

My prediction is that Ferrari will just about be able to do a three stopper but may have to resort to four stops if they're not careful. Red Bull and McLaren will be able to comfortably do a three stop race but one or other (maybe both) may just be able to make a two stop work.

Ferrari's only real hope is rain or the top 4 having some racing incidents with eachother.

They are a second off the pace, i doubt that will just magically disappear in the race.

Ferrari did say this was a damage limitation race so no point in expecting anything sensational from them... 5th on the grid, probably will stay 5th by the end of the race...

Anyone seen Hamilton's DRS activated on his last qualy lap?

I have seen him coming into and exiting of the last corner and at no point did I see the rear flap move... :?:
