IM happy, despite Fred's blunder, that the Ferrari is competitive. Could have been 3rd today. Not bad.

Poor performance from Hamilton...He wasnt quite concentrated on that race since Heidfeld messed him up from the start.A bad ending to a nice weekend.Good Job for Button and finally Heidfeld for that podium keeping the second RB7 behind.
One note for Webber. It seems that either he is underperforming or his team dont back him up at all.Shame really.

The old switcheroo would not have worked at all (thankfully), so any talk of it is out of place today.
Did you see how close they were at the end of the race?

Yes but that was more likely Massas tyres going off. As I said, the switcheroo wasn't an option today so it is irrelevant.

A poor showing by hamilton indeed, but I'm lolling more at Alonso, who made such a hash of getting past Hamilton in a car that was so clearly struggling.

On race pace, they were only a little bit behind Mclaren. Alonso should have got a podium today which would have been a good result.

But it was an option. Alonso was right behind Massa at the end. If he was simply Alonso's number 2 (as some people suggested in another thread), then Massa would have been ordered to let him through.

Those Pirelli's are really effing up things hard... I like the suspence and all but yeah anyways...Nice to see close battles but on the other hand its kind of annoying to see drivers struggling...

Not really, the only times Alonso was faster than Hamilton was when Hamilton was on a clearly dodgy set of tyres. And the only reason Alonso was ever ahead of webber was because of the disasterous start.

So you would rather see 2 hours processions?

These tires are fantastic, looking forward to a whole season of great races!

The Priellis are a joke. Having tyres drop off that much is not right. DRS and tyres that do not last are creating false overtaking an if anything devalue the racing element of F1.

Overtaking is meant to be hard, not a mere formality.

Nice race. The usual boring excellence from Vettel, grrreat job by Heidfeld! And ya gotta love that knife between Webber's teeth.

Alonso could have done better were it not for that critical error and a tardy pit crew. Ferrari had lousy stops today.

And did I see a very nice overtaking maneuver by Perez again?
