Hoping the DRS timing is set just prior to T14, and set open shortly after. Would love to see the drivers set with the challenge of opening it through T16 at 160kmh! This'd make it similar to AusGP final corner (think Sutil).

Isn't it more likely for DRS to be between 13 and 14? Long straight, followed by a slow corner...

Source? Shouldn't the FIA include that now in their circuit diagrams? I take it by home straight you mean pit straight?

What would be the point of having it activate on the pit straight when turn 1 doesn't seem to be a very good overtaking spot?

Personally i think that the DRS zone should be from Turn 4 to Turn 6;



Altho Turn2, 7/8 and 13 will really push the Pirellis to the edge of dispair.

I never remembered 13 as a tyre killer... is it? It's an increasing radius corner, meaning the fronts will be in progressively less load. I think DRS zone should be 10-11. That way it sets them up nicely for a pass into 11, or forces the other guy to defend and be offline in 13, allowing a better run with a late apex out of 13.

Have been on that race twice (2008, 2010)... Just amazing to sit opposite the pitlane, Red Bull tried all the time lure McLaren and Ferrari with a pit stop, but they didn't care Have just been disappointed that the Macca won there when I'm at that race ...

Well, you should definitely go again this year!

the DRS zone will be on pit straight i think....because the DRS was added for "the Fans" to make it more exciting.... so IMO they will put it on pit straight for the off chance of a last second pass makes for good tv i guess

Well I have noticed that in Malaysia, Webber, Hamilton, and Button were closing in on Vettels speed significantly since Melbourne, and this weeks chinese GP seems to me a bit harder to pick a winner. what do you guys think? has Vettel still got it?
