Where will Jos endup....

Post

Prolly you all heard the rumours about Jos Going to Jordan or going there or there....
Since well I'm a belgian and the closest thing to a belgian in F1 (as a driver offcourse) is Jos Verstappen and being an ex minardi driver (see other topic) I would like to see him get a seat for next year.

And just to show you folks I'm not the only one :) here are the 15 most read articles based one NewsNow.co.uk

If after this Eddie Jordan still has any doubt whether he'll get enough coverage then he's a fool :)

I was there to in 1998 sta on the main tribune right in front of MS starting spot :) Even got a BIG piece of eddie irvine's ferrari when he crashed in during the start :) really kewl btw. I was @ Hockenheim in 1996 and where he crashed in the first lap second corner and he was giving autographs to lots of folks. Met Jos a couple of times at speed and design.

I'm not telling what he did was right but I think you can't judge ppl on a single situation.

Btw this is more turning into a pro jos , contra jos post :)

This reminds me i wanted to get an autograph from JPM at Imola in 2001 at the Williams stand and he gave 3 ppl his signature and left with a big annoying face. But then offcourse I'm not really a Montoya fan so :)

this reminds me if any of you folks ever got to imola you should try like we did in 2001 on wendsday just try to walk thru the main gate (it was raining back then so we had no control) or just go around the track and use the small tunnel under the main grandstand. You just walk straight into the paddock take an immediate left and you just take to the pitlane :) it was REALLY KEWL. running tru the pitlane like that while everyone was working on the cars then going back tru the paddock SUPPER FUN :)

i think he'll end up in Jordan with Heidfield. Jordan is in desperate need of cash and he is a proven F1 driver with Trust backing him

(I'm from oost-vlaanderen, Belgium, for people who know where that is ;) )

Anyway... I have started to find Jos a very capable driver, and especially impressed me with all his rocket starts during his time at Arrows. Still can't imagine why the guy was dumped by Walkinshaw at that time. He sometimes overtook 7 people during the first lap, while being on a normal pit strategy. (unfortunately the car kept breaking a little too much)

About Jos... he is married to be Belgian girl, and lives in Belgium btw, and he is not the only Dutchman doing that. Living is cheaper here ;) (well there are other things that cost more of course, but that's why he lives close to the border :P )

Even though Ralph Firman has got a year left on his contract i'm gonna go for McNish and Verstappen in a Jordan for '04. Check out http://f1racing-live.com/en/index.html to see Glock's testing mishap...oh dear!

I think Jos will be watching the race from his armchair on a Sunday, like the rest of us.

Jos should just use his talent to test for a big team, and use his spare time to compete in other events, like Le Mans.

Jos the Formula One dream is over.
