I would really appreciate a circuit map and relative position of an onboard for the broadcasts. I don't know the circuits perfectly and a circuit graphic would be helpful.
im pretty sure he went off in turn 1

Ferrari twitter says they are still working on the car but they doubt that with less than 20 minutes it will be achieved. But hopefully you're right CycleB.

Di Resta's day is over as well, but he's on the pitwall.

Is it me or did Liuzzi just clock a faster time than D'Ambrosio and Glock while running only three laps in the session?

Right now, Virgin look borderline to qualify...

Yes Liuzzi only did a single timed lap on FP2.

Correct me if I'm wrong; Hamilton is 0.5 sec slower than Vettel in S1, 1.1 secs (omg) slower in s2, yet the final gap is only 0.166 ?!? How ? Are McLaren 1.5 secs faster than Red Bull in S3 ? Maybe the bulls weren't using the DRS ? (or maybe I read it all wrong lol)

Any ideas ?

@shrieker- Those sector times only show the last lap, not the lap where they got the quickest time.

Thanks for clearing that up, gibells. Had me wondering too.

you do read what you see and the numbers in the sector times just give the last
elapsed time when the pilot crossed the beam..eg lap is running .I think the best sector times only switch back to best clocked when the car is back in the pits -stationary in the pits-or is this only at the end of the session?

Huuu Heidfeld today with unusual tendency to leave the track ..mayit be he´s sensing the pressure -having a car with winning potential already and he just is too eager to deliver? - or just a bad day..would love to hear his answer when asked about his not so sure footed free practise..as he was pushing the car by himself back into an area where the mechanics could help it seems rather obvious that he bristles with motivation..

Interesting to see that Vettel was prepared to sacrifice a second option tyre set to claim provisional pole.....speaks volumes about their confidence this weekend..
they feel the heat.
