I know, Massa has been starting very well. Alonso has not. Just saying.

It didn't seem to benefit Alonso anyway so no harm no foul. Given the difficulties they have had with this system I think it is most likely a malfunction.

What about Button going into the Red Bull box? Deliberate attempt to slow down Vettel or an honest mistake? Certainly an unusual one. I could understand an honest mistake if the 2 garages were further down the pitlane and the mechnics had similar coloured overalls. But the overalls are completely different and the entry run is also completely different. Massive mind fart for Button?

Yeah. Most likely. That RBR mech is talking out of his posterior.

No f1 driver would deliberately put anyones life in danger in the pits, and that is what he did with the red bull pt crew. With that as a logical base, I have to assume that Jenson made an honet albeit brain dead mistake.

My quote of the day was from DC: "The only way that engineer could have made that scarier was to say it in the dark"

I dont believe a mistake of that nature would be deliberate. Certainly a wtf moment for him and the RBR pitcrew.

Lack of radio won't affect strategy. The pit board is still there with all the needed info lap by lap.
Vettel could hear the pitwall but the pitwall couldn't hear him. He had no way of requesting a stop the ideal time, but according to Horner (a fellow who couldn't lie straight in his bed) they were on a 2 stopper anyway.
They have telemetry too you know...

Sounds about right, I hope. If it was deliberate it was truely pathetic.

True, but telemetry won't tell you how a car feels to drive. Only the person driving can tell you that. Some drivers will cope better than others with worn tyres.

It was a mistake, to consider anything else would be lunacy. it cost Jenson time. Why suggest otherwise? It's just not common sense that he would something so stupid on purpose.

As for the parts of the race that are actually worth talkinga bout.

Maldonado is not looking good, nor is the Williams for the most part.

Perez had his "get out of jail free card' issued today. Rookies will rookie.

Weber, Hamilton, amazing races.

Mclaren is proving that Red Bull will have to work to get the title this year. Lewis also seemed very poised and positive, as if on purpose, and/or coached.

The Renault is looking like a dark horse to cause major shifts in the title as well.

The signs to me are good for the rest of the season.
