Really? Taking his wing off at the start was certainly not brainy.
Awsome race, the key is to stay on Vettel´s gearbox if you want to challenge him for the win, otherwise he will just run away with it.

Alonso, man you showed us why you are the best driver in F1 at the moment. To get a podium with that car and match the RBR´s for most of the time during the race is just wonderful.
I don't think that had anything to do with Alonso really – he outperformed Massa certainly, but the Ferrari is clearly a much improved car.
Hampsa Fred may or may not be the best. He is simply extremely talented.

I love it when members like B-Bob refuse to recognize his extraordinary racecraft. I guess this makes Massa 4-0 over Fred.

Just saw his pole lap again - he always had at least 1 tyre in the lines. Which is what the regs call for.
Have you got a link to him going through 10 that isn't onboard, because from onboard, his front wheels are deffinately outside, and he's pointing onto the track, so I can't imagine his back wheels being on the track here:

Looks like he still has a small patch of tyre on the white line to me.

It was a fun race, but I still think the DRS makes the passes a bit to easy. I was so predictable! It seems that only Massa had problems overtaking with the DRS ;-) btw, how did Massa end up so down the order? He was running 6th at a point!

Why i consider him the best is because he´s well-rounded.

He can do it all and then some. I still consider Hamilton to be the guy with the most raw talent but he lacks in other areas where Alonso doesn´t.

he went off track and lost a bunch of spots and then had a slow pit stop.

I noticed alot of decisions being made at the very last second by racers trying to overtake. "should i or should i not? ahh --- it, i´m doing it".

Awsome to see Button and Hamilton battle aswell, i think they are going to have some nice conversations about that afterwards and remember it for a long time.

I wouldn't say it was boring but it is certainly too much. F1 has gone from drought to flood when a middle ground should have been settled for.

Was it not? Every race, there is that one magic performance by someone. Could be a great back marker battle, or someone on a brilliant strategy, a drive from the back like Webber in China... or so many other possibilities that makes a driver stand out. Pick one among that rabble from todays race. Except Vettels perfect performance. Kobayashi, maybe. Otherwise a perfect flustercuck that made no sense. So many pitstops that almost every pitcrew made a mistake at some point.

Absolutely not – it's 2-2, and I didn't argue it was 3-0 before. I absolutely will acknowledge that Alonso is a brilliant driver, but I don't think he did anything particularly special in this race. I think this is why the BBC F1 guys are having trouble deciding who their driver of the day is – no one had a particularly spectacular race.

For me, it would be Vettel... but for the exact same reason.

As an aside – I'd love to see Ferrari get their wish to have 3 drivers in the top teams – then we'd be able to get Hamilton, Alonso and Vettel all in the same machinery, and actually see who is the absolute best. We already know Hamilton can beat Alonso in the same machinery, but where does Vettel fit in.

Oh wow, another win by Vettel. Yawn.

There really wasn't anything between them at Mclaren, except one was a rookie.

I think there were only two flawless racers today: Vettel and Alonso.

The points need to go back to 10-8-6 etc.
Even if Vettel crashes out twice, he's still in it!

They changed to 25 points for what reason again?

The points system should be as close as the racing.

Vettel is baby shumi in every sense, but mostly for the combination of car, driver, teammate and team.
For Sure!!

I think they changed the points so that there is more incentive for drivers to fight for the lead, instead of just settling for points.
