If your talking about the mesh inlet for kers. That is only on the left intake so your photos wouldnt show it.

This picture has a black fairing in place and the picture of the new version does not, imho they are the same and the lack of fairing gives an impression of more room.

No it's not – follow the matte black lower edge of it in the radiator intake – it used to be dead flat, it's now curved.

There is a complete new manifold and as such the rear is much tighter. That faring was there for a reason before.
