VR/01-01, 02 & 03 A Spec are all now show cars. One is on show at Manor GP and another in Wirth Research, both in the reception of the respective facilities. The third is on show as the official Virgin static showcar for when they put a new sponsor on the car, like when the announced CNBCs sponsorship of the team.
As for the 3 B spec cars, VR/01B-04, 05 & 06, one is their show car for events like Goodwood, another is at Marussia Cars reception and the last in in the Virgin/Withh Research Formula 1 simulator.
Oficially, Virgin only had 4 tubs last year, but there was 6 or 7 produced, as 3 were "A spec" and 4 were "B Spec" as all 4 raced as Glock wrote off one at Canada.
Virgin are the most secretive about chassis numbers of all teams. They even came up with the idea of naming Chassis last year with names, but that didnt go down well with the FIA as the rules state that chassis must follow a numbered system.
Virgin never release any details about chassis in press releases, the only way i get my chassis data for them is from Autosport Magazine. I just think its the way they want to control information, they dont want to have people like me collate roughly how much a chassis has on its log file that each chassis has now, as each chassis has a file with what set up it had at each GP and what each chassis has had done to it. However teams when selling those chassis, dont give those files away as they often have compromising data on them. Those files usually make their way into the public domain after a team goes bust. Last team to do this was Prost, as Arrows got bought up by Super Aguri, and they went to Hond, and now those files are held by Mercedes in effect.
