So true. There's something special about Interlagos.

I don't think F1 should have anything to do with a country that treats it's people like Bahrain does.
Careful as China has a dubious record and when sport meddles in politics no one wins..

Latest update on the "money over morals" efforts to fit Bahrain back into this years schedule: Bernie has now announced that the season could now end in India on DECEMBER 11TH!
At least they could have an eco-friendly vehicle as the safty car, with Father Christmas steering and reindeer power.

Bahrain is reinstated! What do you think?

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Too many choices. Should just be Yes / No, IMHO.

Anyway, I dislike F1 going to Bahrain for the political reasons, but I also feel that F1 should stay out of China and Abu Dhabi, but these are sadly "forgotten" now.

It is a disgrace for the FiA. The first time I cannot support an FiA decision. There are probably too many political chips in the FiA pot that the al Kalifas could call up.

Makes sense. If the Bahrain government says it is safe then there is no reason why the race should not go ahead.

Makes sound sense. It has not been the most exciting race in the past but it is an extra race all the same.

If the Bahrain government demonstrate it is safe then there is absolutely no reason why the race cannot go ahead.

Correct choice by the FIA! =D>

This reeks. Unless there is discernable conciliation I refuse to watch this race on philosophical principals. No Brainer.

This is disgusting. South Africa was the subject of a total sporting boycott because of systematic repression. I see no reason why Bahrain should be any different.

I endeavor to be an ethical consumer, so boycott many brands on principle. Strangely, my preference for drivers is influenced by any boycotts placed on the brands that sponsor them. Unfortunately, if Murdoch gets exclusive broadcasting rights, I will have to give up watching live races ... Either way, there is no way that I can watch this race.

Thanks Bernie, you've convinced me that Vettel should win the championship as quickly as possible. That way, there is no excuse to watch the event.

"Bahrain reinstated". Once again, money talks, principle walks. Plus, the wonderful treat for british F1 fans of sitting down on a sunday teatime and watching the championship finale from the fantastic atmosphere of interlagos has been taken away. Oh well we are only the fans, what say do we have in it all...
