About "one-change-of-direction" rule?

Post

I read "Code of Driving Conduct on Circuit" on FIA site, and I want to know when was introduction of the rule describing just-one-change-of-direction when driver defending his own position on the circuit.
Some guys said that was when MSC make his "left-right"starts in 01 season
Can somebody tell me exactly when?
Before 2000, or after?????

Don't have an exact date but can't remember hearing of it before the '01 season.

do you remember the french and german grand prix starts in 2000?

That´s where the problem arose....

I think for belgium 2000 there was already this rule

Yup in 1995....I don't know if anyone remembers at the 95 Belgium GP....Damon Hill was on wets Schummy was on slicks and it was raining....Schummy swerved from side to side defending his position...and after the race there was a big argument about the rule.....so at least in 1995 the rule came into efect.....
