Do we expect Hispania to change engine manufacturers? WIth Williams expecting to use Renault next year, can we expect Hispania too?
I also expect the F112 to be a lot better of car, its a car that will be fully designed with in normal frame times and with Ex Red Bull Aero guys with the team, things can only get better for next years car.
Any more news on Jamie Alguersuari joining Hispania with his Spanish sponsorship?
Seeing what they managed to do in such a short time with this car bodes very well for them.
And I think that Alguersuari will be the first of the Torro Rosso guys to leave, but I think that he at least has one team which would embrace him with open arms.
I fear that HRT will become a modern-day Minardi, but let's hope for something more along the lines of Williams (though perhaps a change of names would be in order- my mum was shocked when I once mentioned HRT to her! )
Hispania to go to Renault next year, id say no. Id recon they will take the current Williams transmission and pair it to the Cosworth CA2012 and the F112 chassis with Williams, KERS or go to Magnetti Maranelli and see if they can supply the KERS that the Renault team has this year for a couple million. Id recon that the KERS batteries and Magnetti KERS system wouldnt be too hard to integrate with the MES ECU and the Cosworth Ignition pack that hispania have at present. May need some really specialist wiring looms, but theese can be manufactured pretty quick and generally last a decent ammount of time.
As for drivers, id expect to see Alguersauri there if he dosnt pick his game up at Toro Rosso, at the moment Buemi is the one pushing that team, and taking the canadian GP result away, Alguersauri has been beaten in all but every way by Buemi this year. Id recon that if what is being talked about, Telefonica and Repsol each put in a €8m investment into Hispania for next year, they would want a Spanis driver in the car, so Alguersauri would get the call. As for the current 2, what one would i take, the €21m from TATA for Karthekeyn would be nice, but can he push the car the same way Liuzzi could?? Doubt it. However, if Liuzzi could find €8m from Itialian sponsors, id recon that he would get the call as well.
Hispania could be the modren day Minardi, but i think we all need a common team to support and Minardi was one everyone supported.
