Mercedes GP W02

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

I thing he was informed (warned) not to do so. Since he went out in corners where hi did that.

I can't watch atm...so please bear with me...was it announced by the commentators? I wonder why? To give more rear DF to balance out the MK3 FW?

What about the car's rake? Does anyone have a good photo to see if they tweaked it as well?

By the way, it is really good to finally see the new front wing. Let's hope it will work as expected.

Nico just hit the tarmac with his FW. Hi hit the curb and when landing, the wing flexed so much that the sparks were flown all over.

I found this post on the AutoSport Forum:
Schumacher is told not to trialbrake. So he must not do what his driving made unique.

The ECU won't switch to "overrun" and the downforce drops. I never thought this driving style could be a disadvantage but just driving "ordinary" can only be bad for someone who always did it the other way. I wonder if he is really enjoying that.

Well well well, I do believe the MkIII wing is peaking into the picture again. I had a feeling it might as did others. Excellent progress

I always remember reading those article when he was at Ferrari that compares his telemetry with Rubens' that he almost always have some degree of throttle input even if he is not on it. Since he left-foot brake and so used to using throttle and brake to balance his car mid-corner...I wonder how hard it is for a driver to change their habit...

Let's hope they continue to use it, showing that they gained some.

Looking at times, it looks like Mercedes may have moved a little closer to Mclaren now.

No, hi just skid on the tarmac with it. Wing bent that much! Amazing.

At the moment both Wo2s are in front of MCL. Schumi reached top speed in third sector and at the speed trap. Also both MGPs are among the highest ranged on top speed in first sector.
