Great win by Button -- and clear statement as to his superiority as a complete driver compared to Hamilton. Yes, over short distances (qualifying, for example) and in terms of pure speed and passing ability, Hamilton is superior. But Button combines competitive speed with the maturity and stability Hamilton still lacks. Ferrari is slipping. RBR has been caught. The rest . . .ZZZZZ

Congratulations for Jensen on the win in his 200's GP, it's a pity for Hamilton but at least we were free from finger and idiotic radio comments.

+1. And for the remaining races at least it looks like McLaren are really right back up there. Vettel had another anonymous race and was gifted a higher position than he deserved by strategy mistakes made elsewhere. Both Hamilton and Alonso should have finished ahead of Vettel had they had mistake free races from their teams.

Vettel had a great race!! Iif Hamilton could have kept it together he might have done better....

Great win by Button!! Well played! Storming storming drive by Vettel, played everything to the tee, a great team effort. Super drive! Alonso was sterling in third and well....Hamilton brought up fourth., he looked good early on but could not maintain the level throughout, lost his momentum unlike Vettel who looked a bit suspect in the beginning but collected himself Nd pulled it together..enough said....great race in Hungary once again....

It wasn't really. Vettel was gifted second by strategy mistakes by Ferrari and McLaren. I thought it was a very anonymous drive for him overall, never really making things happen for himself nor showing race winning pace.

If, and I know that's a big word in F1, others hadn't made the wrong tyre calls then Vettel would have probably ended up fourth despite starting on pole.

exciting race. I am getting tired of the moaning from Hamilton fans. Lewis is lucky to spend his whole career. In one of the best teams in history. I'm really sick of people picking on Mclaren. If Lewis is mad at anyone, I guarantee he's mad at himself for that spin, because that's what caused the whole rce to unravel for him. Lewis should be happy he was sat in the fastest car.
I will defend Macca all day on this one, they are the one of two TRUE superpowers in F1, and they've given Lewis a winning car EVERY YEAR SINCE 2007. People insulting this team are just showing their ignorance.

Then why was he running in 4th before the others made mistakes? Vettel was second only because Alonso and Hamilton didn't change to the prime tyre.

It will be interesting to see who's call it was to put Lewis on th super softs and then the inters. What was more critical was putting Lewis on the softer compounds when everyone else was went on the harder tyres, and this triggered the sequence of tactical errors that followed.

Still provided some entertainment with his overtake on Webber.

Ferrari have totally reversed their strengths, they did favor slower corners, now, before the race, Alonso said that he couldn't win this race because the F150 favors fast corners

Great win from Button. How fitting can it is to get the win for his 200th GP and winning on the track where he got his 1st win.

It was a damage control race for Red Bull. It seems that Red Bull's dominance is not there anymore. Since Adrian Newey announced that they will focus on 2012 car, Red Bull appears to have been slipping in race pace. It looks like the RedBull drivers will have to work real hard from now on.

Unfortunate race for Hamilton. I can't wait to hear him moan and cry about it! hahaha...

The tyre choice on the 3rd stop ruined Hamilton's race. It was his choice or the team's, doesn't matter now. After that stop he was ~10 seconds ahead of Button and they needed to pull out a gap for an extra stop to switch to softs. But the super soft set Hamilton had -bizarrely- was slower than Button's softs (on paper should've been the opposite) and the gap between them started shrinking. And when Hamilton had to push to open the gap he spun, and made a dangerous recovery (it was obvious, he was lucky he didn't get rammed by di Resta) which ended his chances. It started raining again, in hindsight they should've switched Lewis to the soft compound but then again had it not stopped raining they would've looked like idiots. Not that they don't look like one now though.

Button and Vettel were the ones who had the right tyres at the right time and that won them the race. Congrats to Button. Hamilton's driving today (bar the spin and the dangerous recovery) was sublime. Too bad that set of soft tyres spoiled it all for him.
