What should I do with this Ferrari exhaust?

I have a set of Ferrari exhausts from 2007 I'm pretty sure they are off the spyker.

I'm thinking about stripping the powder coating, chroming them and have a display stand created much like this one http://store.ferrari.com/en/collectible ... ri-f1.html

but... im open to ideas if anyone has any?

Find, or commission, a bust of your favorite driver and have the exhausts placed on his head like antlers. That would make a fine trophy on anyone's wall.

They're either stainless or inconel, so have them electro-polished instead of chromed.

Yeah ive been talking to a few places and I think I want them polished.

sorry but whats the difference between electro-polishing and normal belt polish?
does this involve acid washing?

Aw, don't chrome them , it removes their history.

It would be like chroming a used carbon break disk some things are meant to be dirty

if at all I would electropolish them to get them shiny again it does not remove the signs of the workmanship at all ,just the coloration due to the engine exhausts ...but seriously I´d leave them as is and put them on a display to hang them from a wall or something ..

I like this one, you can see how the exhaust fitted to the engine, almost as if the rest of the car melted away and left the exhaust floating in the air. If it was me, I'd go for positioning the exhaust at the same height relative to the floor, ie teh same as when fitted to the car.

I agree you should leave the exhaust with the dirt and bumps from use, that's how you know it was used, not a spare or replica.

good idea but i dont think the dimensions would fit like the height etc....

I have a 1966 mustang (restored) I'm not sure if you have driven an unrestored car before but its not that fun. especially when it breaks down every 10 feet, sounds and smells like S#$T. I assure you that when I drive down the road with that almighty roar there's definitely magic there, well at least the kind that gets the ladies attention

Also Im Australian, so I already have a didgeridoo, everyone does! just like we have kangaroos as pets.
