Looks like the front wing isn't flexing much or at all this weekend, maybe too much drag at high speed on the flexi wing for it to be faster overall.

Maybe they dont want it to flex so much this weekend?

Is it me or does the RB7 sound very rough off throttle today?

I noticed that as well. Are they playing with their throttle once again?

Yeah, presumably it's a more aggressive hot blowing exhaust map. Sounds absolutely horrible!

I thought the engine would explode any minute!

Don't the Renault engine use cold blowing?

Yes they use cold blowing, I remember hearing about it at the Silverstone fiasco, the Renault engines draw air through the engine and use that to blow the diffuser, the Merc engines use exhaust gasses. Not sure about what the other engine manufacturers do.

Doesn't mean they can't introduce hot blowing. That was why I specifically mentioned it, as it sounded very similar to the McLaren exhaust if not more aggressive.

Red Bull's wing hasn't had apparent flex for quite a while. If there is any it's much more subtle.

I think the LRGP exhaust is the one that sounds most aggresive of the field, not sure if it's due to the FEE or not.

Well, in Hungary they definitely were flexing a lot. So its probably disadvantageous to run them on low df tracks like Spa and Monza. I'm betting we'll see them again in Singapore.
