Think SV did 25 laps without a DRS assessment even once?
Maybe they were just trying to calculate their race pace, assuming that they'll be leading from lap 1.

Speed traps anyone?

In wake of Red Bull/Spa tyre controversy, Pirelli's 3-degree camber-limit recommendation will be enforced as a rule by FIA at Italian GP
now it's the FIA who will decide the setup for a team...

Schumachers just banged in a 1:24.8

...followed by a 1:24.347

On the softer tyre....

Some teams didn't use DRS in FP2 (I saw RBR, MCL, and Sauber). Did they test different wings or just race conditions?

For all the quickest laps DRS was used.

For race sims, teams didnt use DRS.
More could have been done.

Soo.. MSC was on the softer tire, did a 1.24 low and Hamilton set a 1.23 high on meds?

Mercedes seems to be, as I expected, not very fast on this track.

MSC was quicker than Hamilton of FP2.There is no way in hell Hamilton will go quicker than MSC in a medium set of tyres while MSC is not soft on a track like MONZA.

MONZA plays to Merc's strengths.Regarding FP1 you have no idea who was having what fuel load. Hamilton was rumoured to be using a wing which will heavily benefit DRS giving him significant qualifying advantage but somewhat of a compromise for the race as well.

The pole time for Q2 will definitely be in the high 1-21's or at worst 1-22's. Mclaren-Red Bull-Ferrai are likely to fight for victory again but Merc might close the gap. Maybe another 5th-6th position again.

I wonder; can we download all the sector and lap times from FP1 and FP2 somewhere? I'd love to see how each team fared in the race sims they did. I think the McLarens would unquestionably be on top of the time sheets of fP as they're running that massive wing; making them fast in the corners; but the DRS would probably have a greater effect on it than the DRS would on a skinny wing.

I'm calling a 1:20 pole time actually.

Yes but isn't that only the final classification? Rather than a record of all individual lap times?

I'm quite sure Hamilton did his 1.23 in FP1 on meds. Compared to MSCs 1.24 low on SOFTS I don't believe Mercedes is within 1sec for pole time...

I am expecting 0.7-0.8 sec gap to pole. I would be quite surprised if neither MSC nor NICO manage to come within 1s. The whole med-soft argument doesn't hold much ground as we dont know who was running how much fuel load. If Mclaren was runnung an ultra low fuel load you never know. I head Mclaren's race sim mode was not particularly encouraging as the car was pretty slow & not as quick without DRS as with DRS.
