Red Bull RB7 Renault

The most complete car i have ever seen, like F2004. Red Bull will take pole every race this year, for sure.

It certainly is, it may not be as dominant as the RB6 was as high DF circuits but it's defiantly a more complete car.

It's got maybe a tenth or two at every circuit; rather than 8 tenths at aero circuits and 1 or sometimes slower at other circuits.

Huh? What?

Has anyone got photos of Vettel vs Webber? I'd love to see their rear wings

I believe he's referring to the areas I've highlighted with (crude) yellow arrows.

I wonder if it's a new exhaust outlet.

It's a perforated gurney which they have had for most of the season.

I don't think so.

This is the Red Bull diffuser in Hungary. It appears very different than the one being used this weekend.

It sure is interesting looking. It´s definitely not the Hungary one.

Would it be legal to have an exhaust there?

I think it would be legal as long as there is a definitive break between the exhaust pipe from the engine and the vent lining the top of the diffuser, as that would seem to satisfy the regulation which states,"5.6 Exhaust systems: Engine exhaust systems may incorporate no more than two exits."

So this may very well be a simplified version of the so-called "octopus exhaust" that McLaren tested over the winter.

just when you thought the RB7 was reaching its development end Newey puts out another trick. Quite interesting diffuser, we really need some close ups

I noticed that as well. Are they playing with their throttle once again?
Yeah, presumably it's a more aggressive hot blowing exhaust map. Sounds absolutely horrible!
This presumed new exhaust vent could very well explain that, too.

It just seems like more perforated Gurney rather than another exhaust outlet

KERS issues again for both Red Bull Pilots, perhaps they have eeeked out more power for this race, > 33 kW ??
