Can Senna now chose his starting tires?... as he didn't set a time?

incredible lap from Vettel. Vettel is THE driver on form now. 100% confidence, 100% commitment.
I thought Button was on a hot one too, enough to challenge Vettel. But he did not finish the lap. hmmmmm.....

At least Webber shouldn't have to worry about losing a slug of positions off the line

Button said he wasn't going to improve his position in the post quali interview.

Magnificent lap by Seb Vettel. He looks unbeatable for tomorrow if the Red Bull holds togehter. Rosberg could be the surprise package starting on primes. The way the options hold up we can expect him to stay out long enough for one stop only. Strange that Merc did not put Michael on the same strategy. Perhaps Michael felt he cannot make up his customary contingent of positions at the start with the primes.

RedBull was working some magic in sector 3. Rumor that the car makes up 0.7 seconds in that sector - with DRS on!

Know we know which car is the most aero efficient...

Grateful to whoever posts the sector times when they come out.

Mclaren made a tactical blunder with Hamilton again. He has used all his softs and has used an extra set of hards as compared to everyone else.
Button would still be 4 tenths down on Vettel if he did finish. It is not like he decided to call it a day because his 3rd place was not guaranteed as they were still runners behind him. He actually made a small mistake. The two Mclaren drivers made small mistakes... but that is what happens when you're on the limit.

I am very impressed with this man's performances. Just his second Qualifying in this car and he is in Q3 on both occasions.

Indeed, but can he start on whatever tires he wants, as he made it into Q3, but didn't set a time?

Seb was .3 faster than Fred in in Q3 sector 3. Probably because Fred, as usual was punching above his weight!
