So :Willis overseeing it all who is an Aero guy but also excelling in PLM proceedures,Zander as a mechanical engineering guy overseeing the thing in terms of sound engineering principles applied and Seguro doing the Aero Concept and Design .

That looks like a healthy first row...the second and third row people at HRT are beyond doubt anyways ,those guys worked wonders in the last two years campaigning cars barely existing...

I can't help but like HRT despite them being a bit useless, for now at least. I hope they can improve and this is certainly a move in the right direction.

Nevermind HRT-Cosworth next year, it could be that there is a HRT-Renault next year.

Rumors are abound that Renault have been seen arround the Hispania motorhome at Monza alongside what looks to be its new frontline design team. Also the owner of GP2 team Barwa Addix is seemingly intrested in at least a partial takeover of Hispania and to get a Renault engine supply for the future.

Sources (1 relyable, the other posibly half way there):
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/94534
http://joesaward.wordpress.com/2011/09/ ... -the-news/

Id recon that this would probably be good for Hispania as it would get the most recent Williams Grand Prix Engineering gearbox and the Renault RS27-2012 power plant and associated KERS for it.

It may also pave a way for a French and Spanish driver line up, or a French and Spanish driver to share a seat with an experienced driver to take over the other seat. Drivers for next year could be Charls Pic whos family transportation buisness distrubutes the fuel for Total, Pic could bring as much as €17m a season to Hispania.

As for a second driver, id recon they would be stupid to ditch Liuzzi, but if Barwa want another pay driver with connections in Giedo van der Garde, however he has wained in GP2 this year and his star may have shone out now. As for an alternitive, looking at the drivers Barwa Addiz GP2 team has had in its stable over they years, id say that maybes GP2 2011 Champion Romain Grosjean may fill in this seat in return for free Renault engines, however if Senna dosnt get a seat at Renault or Williams in 2012 id recon that Senna could be back at Hispania with free Renault engine and KERS supply.

A list of F1 guys that made their way into F1 via Barwa GP2 Team include: Petrov, Di Grasi, Grosjean, Perez.

I see the king pins in the driver market being Petrov/Kubica and Senna at present. However i do see the driver situation at Force India and Toro Rosso also bringing some good driver tallent onto the market that Hispania could pick up from. In particular Hulkenberg and Alguersauri of he dosnt get his seat at STR id recon that Red Bull could buy him a seat at Hispania to keep ahold of him for one futher year.

Hispania are looking like they will have not only resourse and money on its way, but more importantly good staff as well.

ESP, I was just about to post on here with regards to this! :D

If Barwa Addax completes a partial takeover, will the team be renamed to Barwa Addax Renault F1 team?

If this Renault deal goes ahead I reckon that Grosjean will join the team in supply of free engines and KERS.

I was thinking the same thing, with Senna going to Williams-Renault for 2012 as well.

Id recon that a rename would be on the cards, calling the team Barwa-Renault or Barwa Addax-Renault is on the cards for the Constructor name with the Entry Name being Barwa Addax F1 Team or Barwa Addax GP.

Id recon this is on the cards, and leave Virgin as the only Cosworth powered team for 2012, whitch i can see change to Mercedes for 2013 now, for one season. But thats another thread.

I think a fresh start is whats needed for this team, and could be in place for the start of the next season. Lets face it, Barwa Addax was the old Campos GP2 team and now look at how sucessful it is in GP2.

I read that HRT had Renault Engine staff in the motorhome this weekend at Monza.... only a good sign!

Yes I agree that the team needs a new start, plus if Barwa Addax do take over I believe they base themselves in Valencia?

Maybe that is why they brought in Jorg Zander and Jose Gallego Segura because Geoff Willis may not want to relocate?

ESP, what do you think of the latest technical signings?

You think D Ricciardo will get a drive for TR next year? I doubt it, unless he does something special before end of year.

So best case scenario: B Senna partnered to some pay driver from GP2 and Liuzzi as test driver. Not a bad line up. Or Hulkenberg instead of Senna. With free Renault engines and Williams transmission. Plus fresh expertise from new technical signings and GP2 partner. Return of the low nose will help them as well.

PS: A Senna in a Williams #-o someone had to say it.

Three rear wing solutions, the Monza package with low drag, and endplates without gills

Why the rounded edges to the endplates? Is that a performance thing or just an aesthetic thing for the colour scheme. Also the cutouts seem much larger than other teams.

I don't think any part in F1 is really designed with aesthetics in mind; at least not any part that is in contact with air.

Which is almost everything. Hence we get some daaaamn ugly cars and maybe one a year that stands out. And 80% of the ''beauty'' is the paintjob.

So to answer...no, not for aesthetics. Performance. Whatever little they gain.

Aesthetics only came up cause i could not think of how that curve could improve performance. And ray if its not in contact with the air - we cant see it, therefore aesthetics are pointless, except in the cockpit where its all about ergonomics.
