Alas JET, things just don't work like that..........
Ok, I freely admit I don't know how it works. How does it work then, seg?

Ok then, it looks like it is too much of an expectation to let this thread go on for a while and see if people can behave.

I've had to clean up the most off-topic and personal posts in these last few pages, and I hope this can now go on in a reasonable and perhaps even factional discussion.

Thank you

Tomba - did you mean "factual"?

"Factional" means internal dissent or civil war.

Could be part of the restructuring that Bob Bell is undertaking at the team.

Oh I think that is a given. Thing I would like to know is what where this guys responsibilities in the "aero special projects"?

Im assuming front wing and general aero, particularly if the feedback from the team regards the car is that it requires X amount of downforce towards the rear/front etc.
So he is the aero point-man
I also see F1enigma rates the chap highly, witnessing the W01 and W02 I honestly cant see what is "special" about him.
Maybe it was another bonkers idea and Bell gave the guy short shrift and sent him packing?

He's the guy in the blue shirt:

Edit: Further digging has come up with this.

Funny that the picture seems just an odd man out, with our man being the only one not wearing a white shirt and - very strange- not showing his ferrari badge

Huh? Why would @F1enigma tweet that he left, only now?

Late news on that one... Maybe it was just drawn to his attention now. Seems like you need to keep tabs on comings and goings within F1 like a hawk! I wonder if teams publish a role call of the members of staff they have on their books?

They could have been invited as guests by Ferrari, and Garood was there in some capacity for Honda/Brawn/Merc.

Yes of course; I was just saying that it is easy to spot him as is the only one different in the group.
