That was a brilliant save, Im watching it over and over and while there is an element of luck that the fronts gripped in time, you could tell he saw it coming just on entry. Brilliant driving once again by koba.

I remember Sutil spun on oil in the race last year, and was traveling sideways to the chicane in the race. He held it so well the angle to the direction of travel was constant! (ie there was no yaw)

Hamilton was saying after the two sessions that they were pretty sure they were running a lot more fuel than anyone else on their race pace runs, so it may be closer than it looks.

The RB7 seems to be really good in corners with sharply defined apexes, but not so much in corners with blind apexes. While the McLaren is better at blind apex corners, although not as good in the pointy ones. Even with Vettel's off you can tell, he gains on the two degners, but actually loses out in the first sector. We saw this in Hungary, and Nurburgring; in fact the only reason Hamilton didn't get pole on the Nurburgring is because Webber has lead attachments and DRS'ed it all through the Shumacher S. The Ferrari is fastest under braking, and trail braking, they clearly do not have as much downforce as the McLarens or Red Bulls, the Ferrari clearly has more downforce in the front than in the rear, so it's reasonably fast in a quali, but suffers in the race pace. It's very tail happy, and trying to control the rear is what slows them down.

RB7 advantage is not 1 sec, but to beat SV, you will need to advance by a sec before you can start being bullish.

Having said that, I hope I wrong so that SV will be forced to push the RB7 to its max potential.
