Hill Climb BMW M20
great flashback. I have to dig up my archive of F1 collections more of such clips. I have to say, those wide low rear spoilers still looks way better than today's tall and narrow ones.megz wrote:
On the straight toward Parabolica Kimi's engine sounds like the clutch is slipping and there's a peak in the revs, any ideas? I see also that they didn't use 7th gear either - reducing rotational mass to save power?
Oh my... this video is like from a different world compared to what I've seen yesterday. Great looking car, epic track, godlike sound too. Feels like it was another era altogether, compared to that tedious parade around a giant multicolor neon-lit phallus, with DRS 'passes' and no hope of proper racing for positions.megz wrote:

I think that's beacuse they could punish those tyres much more without loosing grip, attacking kerbs and corners much more agressively during qualy. I miss that visible agressiveness too. They should give a qualy-set of tyres for the top10 really.agip wrote:I don't know why, maybe because of the bad choise of camera angles, but why did they look MUCH faster in 2000's than today?!
