Giblet, with all due respect, I hope we can also discuss / conjecture about changes in technical staff next season. IMHO, the engineers are as important as the drivers, and movement among technical staff can have great impact on teams' success. (Or is there another thread I have overlooked?)Giblet wrote:Looks as though Sutil is out next year and Hulkenberg in.

PS - this is a thread about drivers and where they might be next year.
Or maybe just the teams thread.raymondu999 wrote:I think it should be a thread about personnel; be they technical/marketing/janitorial/driver
As dire as the straights that Williams are in, I can't see it being anything like that. For one thing, Raikkonen is a more talented driver, is keeping himself in shape and has already started a tough training regime ahead of winter testing. Mansell.....well, I don't know what he was doing in 1995 to be honest. He knew what was required.xpensive wrote:If true, I don't think this is good news at all, reminds me too much of Nigell Mansell's return to F1 in 1995 to drive the first Mercedes-powered McLaren.
I think that is the issue exactly -- how will Kimi handle being an also-ran with no hope of a podium? (He might have a tough time even getting into the points.)xpensive wrote:I was thinking neither obesity nor lack of talent, rather Räikkönen's tenacity when he's fighting it out with the FIs?
