Myself for f1technical interviewed by oversteertv

Post

I was interviewed yesterday by oversteertv, the guys kind of liked f1technical quite a bit, so they were interested in getting an opinion and some more information about Formula One for the (mainly) American motorsport fans.

Bare with me, I was a bit nervous.

Well done. Did he let you know in advance about which topics he was going ask about?

Who was the good looking bloke reading out your answers?

Well done, I enjoyed it. It is a bit daunting doing this sort of stuff.

Oh that's just a remote controlled doll

I knew beforehand it would be some smalltalk about the F1 season, nothing more really. We did have to do it twice however, due to a technical problem the first time.

Thanks though for the positive comments! Scarbs too of course ;)

Enjoyed listening to this Tomba!

Some nice discussion, and he's right, the forum here is an incredible fountain of motorsport knowledge, and deserves attention!

Wow. Apart from the occasional smile, you looked really tense. Chill out man :)

Next time enjoy a beer beforehand maybe ? Also, you could've been a little bit more insightful to be honest.

When I've tech interviews for work I've been told the topics in advance so I can be sure to have the facts to hand. It does help because then your brain is focussed on talking about the subject rather than having to use half your brain to remember facts and figures while the other half talks, or even tries to delay things while you remember the facts.

Yes well, first of all I was quite tensed up because the thing was delayed for 20 minutes, so I was waiting and getting nervous. A beer beforehand might work next time :D

Secondly, I must admit I have quite a bad memory, and if I cannot look up things beforehand, I will make too many mistakes going in deeper without preparation.

Did my best guys, now let's hope a few more Americans find their way to this place!
