Algy and Buemi are good drivers but neither of them has ever put the TR cars further up the grid than they deserved to be.scuderiafan wrote: Alguersuari came straight out of GP2, and in his second season he scored 5 points. One year after that, he scored 26! I think he was on the road to some really good results. Unfortunately, he wasn't good enough for Red Bull, and I believe that Red Bull had a part in signing Vergne and Ricciardo. They'll just cycle through until they get another "Vettel".
Just look at what Vettel & Webber managed in non-front running cars; Vettel won Monza in the Rain for STR and Webber frequently put Williams Cars, and Jag's before that, where they had no right to be (nearly won a wet Jap GP before being skewered by Vettel under a safety car and came close to a Monaco Podium or better on merit before his Williams caught fire while in 3rd place).
PS, the same can be said of Alonso, Hamilton and Button - they've all show that ability to find something special that makes you go wow!
