Yes he has visited the factory and is under consideration for the seat. I think it would be good if he gets a seat any seat.

It seems that Bruno Senna might stand a better chance of the second seat, next to Pastor Maldonado, than anyone else, this in spite of the team not in need of qualified drivers. Rubens Barrichello, Jaime Alguersuari, Vitaly Petrov, Adrian Sutil and a few others are all hoping for one of the remaining seats available, but according to Brazilian publication globoesporte.com, Senna is very close to signing a deal with the team his uncle drove for.

Senna was spotted at the Williams factory a few days ago, where sources say he underwent physical assessment tests and had a long talk with the technical team. Senna is believed to be able to bring some strong sponsors as well as some youth to the team, which has been through a huge transition this year, with several key members of staff being replaced

a. Alguersuari &/OR Red Bull have already turned down HRT & Williams doesn't seem to be on the table.

b. Barrichello may be seeing 2012 from the sidelines.

c. Heidfeld will probably end up as a Test Driver with MercGP or Pirelli.

d. U left out Senna.

Petrov's Russian connection won't get him a drive at Virgin (at least for now) and Sutil appears to be the man to have. Has he been linked to any particular team recently? Not Renault obviously!!!

According to 2012 Formula 1 Season on Wikipedia...

After being banned in 2009, in-season testing will return in 2012, with plans for a test to be held at Mugello on 1 May ahead of the European leg of the 2012 championship. As teams will only be permitted to do 15 Days of testing over the course of the season, the pre-season winter testing schedule has been cut back to accomodate the Mugello test.

Sutil's manager says that Sutil is "definitely not in talks with Ferrari" and that "Ferrari is not an option."

This makes me think that either, a) Sutil really isn't moving to Ferrari or b) Sutil's manager's use of extreme words points to a Ferrari move for Sutil. You know how it goes in the silly season. Denial, denial, denial, it's possible, then signed.

I really don't want to see this thread turn around in theme, but there was nothing Alguersuari could do! That part of the track has one very strict line to follow, and Jaime couldn't move out of the way!

I also seem to remember Scott Speed and Franz Tost having tiffs here and there and never really being cooperative, which lead to Speed losing his seat.
