DDD & EBD? ...err... I was picking the technologies MacLaren uniquely developed or were uniquely dominant in deploying.

I mentioned KERS because they were dominant in its deployment and the only team as I recall to run it at every race. McL made a success of it, everyone else thought it was more hassle than it was worth.

Even though they didn't win the championship last year, I still admire Mclaren for putting themselves out there and trying to come up with something new. Much the same for Renault also. When was the last time Ferrari really developed something that everyone wanted to copy?

Seguing ever so slightly for a moment. I managed to get close-ups of the diffuser on the RB7 and the MP4-26 after visiting the Autosport Racing show yesterday, after security guard lowered the barrier for me. If the MP4-26's EBD was a copy of the RB7, then it was not a very good one, as to my untrained eyes they looked totally different. Further though it pains me to admit it, the the RB7's sculpturing of the exhaust tail-pipe into the bodywork pre-diffuser to enerfise their EBD looked far more precise than the '26.

The mclaren pic still isnt showing, and from what I can see of the redbull, it looks like the RB6, there apears to be a double diffuser.

Don't use Twitpic - the picture address will constantly change. Upload it to somewhere like imageshack or photo bucket. I agree with most that that's an RB6
