CaterhamF1 CT-01 Renault

Look like a snowplow under the front wing.

Now this is the actual car we can talk about. It looks that it has some similar solutions that was first seen on RB cars. The image is blurred but the rear end looks tight it looks around the side pods. The airbox is more convetional airbox with rised structure. The suspension stayed the same as last year (pull rod at the rear, push rod at the front). It would be great to see where the exhaust pipes points at (thanks afig for pic).

I rather like Platypuses,

Not sure if I like them as race cars.

It better be quick of it is that ugly.

The car being similar to the RB7 makes sense with the same engine and gearbox. It also means the KERS is likely packaged the same as well.

More likely just a presentation wing with parts missing.

it very much agrees with scarbs proposals, the nose especially. Its a shame the images are so poor

Is that me or front suspension arms are mounted very high?

edit: same as last year in fact...

But steering arm is mounted with lower arms, while last year it was near the upper arm

Oh god that nose is even worse than BMW's late-09 nose...

What's the next car to be revealed? McLaren isn't it? Let's hope they've done better...

Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

The top of that nose looks like it will produce some DF. More than a smooth nose anyway.

No that is not true that humps just redirect or even little disturp uper flow! This nose design is totaly downforce nevtral... It more like a knife, which slice air highest as posible to make sure that rear end (difiouzor)will heve enought air
